Yeh bit of dirt would be good...and the shoulder holster could do with being a bit darker if possible...apart from that, great kit mate

Deffo an M3 Alex, can tell by the handle, Bayonets are much longer than that!

It's an M3 and I know my kit needs to get a bit dirtier and it's getting there. 
The boots and trousers are covered with mud already the backpack is getting there too. The terrains we play on are mostly dry on Sunday (it rains the rest of the week? 
) so it takes some time to dirty up. 
Best thing about the Luger when I carried around for the first time I almost had a direct hit with it. Not to bad at all very precise.

I took mine off after it being on there for a good year and half or so and it left a nice clean patch of OD on my 42's, which I thought looked quite cool...42's look much better now without the giant red and blue HERE I AM patch on the sleeve.

Yes I notice that alot with the Airborne guys the Flag and the White decals on the helmet stand out from a mile away and make great targets.
Hence taking the flag off, also originally the helmet spade decals were supposed to be the size of a thumb, not as in Band of Brothers where they took up a whole side of the helmet.

Actually they varied in size from large to a small. they got smaller as the war progressed. it was a shit duty dished out to the minions. some were stencils, many were handpainted.
Printed on a removable brassard would have been the most convinient I rekon!

Thought about it first but I like it and I don't get shot at more or less with it on so I'll let it on the sleeve. I still not sure if I should put one on the M42 82nd outfit I'm putting together for next year.

no no mate, what i meant was, the 101st airborne never wore them on d-day, it was only the 82nd that did.
the 101st only wore them on market garden, and most of those were the brassards, some sewn.
